Description
This is work-in-progress sequence for Halloween 2009 picture, going from small sketches to rough colors.
So I've been roughly been working in some colors and do it at the same time as trying to figure out the background. It's a process that takes some trial and error, and I've been balancing the colors right to left by adding more details as I go along. Basically the details are either adding flourishes or trinkets with the colors that needs to be added on one side of the picture.
I think it is going well so far… but I still have ways to go as it needs to be refined.
So yeah, the costume and theme this year is "ghost". Quinn is holding a dinner party, the twist being that the dinner party is held inside a painting.
BTW, I'm listening to Castlevania rock covers and Persona 4 soundtrack while making this. Quite inspiring music.

Holy crap.
Color balancing for the win!
I just absolutely love watching sketches turn into line-art, and then color.
It's one of my little joys.
