Halloween 2009 Progress

Mon Oct 26, 2009, 3:23 AM
I'm not dead, honestly! I'm working on the halloween picture now in case you didn't notice. ;)

Working on these as I go on and listening mostly to the Persona 4 soundtrack (because it has the Best… Random battle rock music… Ever) or powergoat's Castlevania rock covers, because y'know… it is the month of Rocktober!

Still working on the rough spots before releasing the whole 3200 x 1200 pixel resolution glory together with cropped versions with those who haven't got dual screen setups. I'm planning for the following resolutions (with aspect ratios):

Dual screen
3840 x 1080 2 x HD TV (16:9)
3360 x 1050 2 x Wide (8:5, 16:10)
3200 x 1200 2 x Standard (4:3)

Single screen
1920 x 1080 Full HD TV 16:9
1680 x 1050 Wide 8:5 (16:10)
1600 x 1200 Standard 4:3

It is done and can be found here:

Fight-o!

Mon Apr 13, 2009, 11:32 AM
I have a brute that you can fight. Go ahead, make my day!

Other than that, I have not much more to talk about. My inability to produce more art stems from me having to look for a new job. Ah, being a computer programmer isn't easy y'know.

By the way, Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood is airing. BONES are restarting the series and judging from the second episode it follows the manga quite closely. Also the OP song, Again by Yui, rocks my socks off.

Other than that, Valkyria Chronicles, the PS3 game that nobody wanted to buy also has an anime that is airing. I bought the game and it's really good. The graphics itself would've sold me but it is also a geek heaven for tactical turn-based squad gamers (remember X-COM anyone?). The anime has been interesting so far with the first two episodes.

Forgot My Tablet & MGS4

Sun Jan 11, 2009, 2:52 AM
I've been over at my parents place and brought my Wacom Intuous 2 tablet with me to doodle. In a sudden surge of creativity I made the new year and MMO girl pictures. Unfortunately in my eagerness to return to my apartment I've forgotten to bring back my tablet with me. They live so far away from me and I have no car, so it won't get back in a big while. My temporary solution has been to buy a block of paper (the kind you buy for kids) and sketch like crazy on it with my pencils and ballpoint pen.

Another thing that has been annoying me is Metal Gear Solid 4, which I bought a while ago. I decided to play it to the end on 13th day of christmas (called Epiphany) which is a holiday here in Sweden. At midnight, I thought the game was about to end. At one o'clock I was wondering when the was going to end. At two o'clock I had to go through numerous attempts to kick Ocelot's old ass. At three o'clock I thought the credits roll ended but NOOO there is ANOTHER cutscene. I was in bed 3:30 AM and had to get up for work at 7 AM.

So thanks Kojima! Thanks for making the most dragged out ending in any creative work in all human history… and thanks for being a contributing factor for my insomnia.

Wow... I've been DD'd!

So I woke up today, checked quickly and noticed there was a sudden flux of comments and activity messages. I had no idea what happened until I noticed that the picture's been picked as Daily Deviation.

Ach!

Mon Apr 28, 2008, 1:28 PM
Since february I've been extremely busy with calculus exam and feel quite burnt out in the process. What really gets to me the most is that I forgot to make an april fools striptease for this year. :(

Anyhow as for good news, I'm inofficially a civil engineer now. There is very little paper work left. Since I'm still attending a course in Virtual Reality/Virtual Environments I'm waiting with getting my degree until this last course is finished (which'll be in the end of May). I'm so-o-o-o-o going to take a vacation after that is done.
